Meet Stephanie Curran

MBSR Instructor | Acupuncturist (R.TCM.P)

As a fertility acupuncturist and mindfulness facilitator, I’m passionate about supporting individuals navigating the ups and downs of trying to conceive with compassion and care.

My own journey with infertility was a deeply personal one—a mix of hope, heartbreak, and resilience. It tested me in ways I never imagined but also reshaped my perspective and my life’s work.

Building on my background as a health practitioner, I became a certified instructor of Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) through Brown University and completed training in Mindfulness-Based Childbirth and ParentingListening Mothers, and Mindful Schools. I also pursued coaching training to deepen my ability to guide others through the emotional complexities of TTC.

These practices taught me firsthand how mindfulness can offer a sense of grounding and resilience in the face of uncertainty. Whether you’re just beginning this path or healing from a loss, I’m here to walk alongside you—helping you cultivate strength, connection, and hope as you navigate this journey.

My work is rooted in three decades of mindfulness practice, 25 years of clinical experience supporting fertility patients, and lived experience of walking this path firsthand.

  • Evidence-based practices: Drawing from Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC), and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), with decades of research showing benefits for stress reduction, resilience, and emotional regulation.

  • Mind–body connection: Simple grounding and awareness practices that calm the nervous system and help you feel more at home in your body.

  • Compassion and care: Practical ways to soften self-judgment and nurture yourself as you would a dear friend.

  • Sustainable tools: Habits you can integrate into daily life—micro-moments of presence, breath, or kindness that build resilience over time.

  • Membership: Twice-monthly live sessions online where you can practice with guidance, knowing you’re alongside others walking a similar path—without needing to share or interact directly.
