Free Audio Practices for Egg Retrieval

Flower Bud Petals

Your egg retrieval is such a significant step. Alongside the emotions that naturally arise, there’s also the experience of the procedure itself and the body’s recovery afterwards.

These short guided practices are here to help you steady yourself in the midst of it all:

  • Before Retrieval - A practice to help you prepare, easing tension and calming your nervous system.

  • After Retrieval - A practice to support your body as you rest and recover.

You’ll find space here to breathe, to ground, and to soften some of the tension that naturally builds during this part of treatment. They won’t take away what’s hard—but they can offer steadiness, warmth, and care as you move through it.

"The tools and practices associated with being present and carving out time for personal self care have been so valuable on my fertility journey."

"Mindfulness helped me get through the uncertainty and difficult times when I felt powerless. I now have tools to find myself when I feel like I lose control and when I lose myself."

"Giving your body and mind and heart space to just be is such a kindness at a time when you need it so much."

 A Gentle Note

Wishing you steadiness and care as you move through your procedure

and the days of recovery that follow.

May these small pauses offer you a sense of being held along the way.

Hi, I’m Stephanie!

I understand the heartbreak and uncertainty of trying to conceive—I’ve walked this path myself. My own fertility journey taught me the importance of having tools to navigate the emotional challenges, and now I help others do the same.

As a certified Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) instructor through Brown University and a practitioner of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine since 2000, I’ve supported many people on their fertility journeys. I founded Elements of Health Centre in 2006, where I practice Acupuncture and blend mindfulness, self-compassion, and evidence-based practices to support emotional well-being.
